Mini Monkeys
Join us in Fairford Community Centre for an hour of Crafty Monkey fun. Our craft and play workshops are the ideal place for your little ones to explore their creative side and are specifically aimed at toddlers and pre-school children aged between 2 and 4 years. They are also a great place for parents and carers to meet and you never know you might learn something new too! Each week will feature a different theme, centred around a story. There will be chance for creative, sensory and messy play and of course lots to make and take home too. We provide all the materials and equipment and also tea and biscuits!

What's on this term?
10th April - When Cookie Crumbled by Michelle Robinson and Tom Knight
Decorate salt dough cookies, collage cookie characters, role play baking with flour and playdough. Paint the cookies in the cookie jar.
17th April - Hello Moon by Francesca Simon and Ben Cort
Make a moon and star hanging decoration, design a telescope to see the stars, paint beautiful starry nights. Play with moon craters in cloud dough on the tuff tray.
24th April - Colin and Lee Carrot and Pea by Morag Hood
Make yarn wrapped carrots and peas, collage vegetable shapes, make paper plate peas in a pod. Chop toy vegetables on the tuff tray and scoop up peas in the water tray.
1st May - Let's Stick Together by Smriti Halls and Steve Small
Decorate woodland animal windchimes, make paper roll bears and use forks to paint squirrels tails. Play with the counting bears and honey pots. Feed the rainbow bears with chickpeas.
8th May - NO SESSION
No session this week. We will look forward to seeing you next week.
15th May - Katinka's Tail by Judith Kerr
Make paper plate cats, design your own colour in cat mask and make salt dough cat charms. Paint magical rainbow cats and play with the toy cats on the tuff tray.
22nd May - Glamingo by Sam Samson and Alex Patrick
Paint a wooden flamingo puppet, make paper plate flamingos and design your own rainbow friend. Play with birds, feathers and nests on the tuff tray.
